Michael John McIntosh is an NYC Native,

Compression Engineer & Artist with over
10+ years of experience working with

With the ability to craft artful stories propelled
by design sensibilities, create motion graphics
that give color to brand narratives and apply
my experience in video production and tech to
any brief, partnered with my use of AI-rendered
imagery, my aim is to introduce artful simplicity
to every project that I contribute to by
transforming data & brand mission statement
into timeless, relatable, human narratives that
inspire wonder, reflection and progress.
My goal is to use my niche experiences in
production, tech and fine art into art direction
that breathes life into information.

the landscape of the Arts in an effort to render examples of excellence in real time, which in

Kernel Brand Logo-design
Created the name and Brand logo for Spectrum Cable’s in-house agency, Kernel - we make ideas pop.
At the time, many of our department’s client’s were mom and pop shops based middle-America
( auto dealerships, restaurants, cleaning services, etc. ). Utilizing an icon like an ear of corn, is a nod
to the cultural perspective of the clients we were servicing. To learn more, check out the project

Artist Resident, Ooolite Arts fka Art Center South Florida Residency, Miami, FL
ArtCenter/South Florida strives to be a leader in the South Florida contemporary cultural scene as
a creative learning center and internationally recognized as a world class cultural center.
The ArtCenter has served as a catalyst for the South Florida arts community for the past 30 years
and it continues to re-invent itself and stay current to better serve the community and the artists’ needs.
Since 2014, the Studio Residency program has been restructured with support from
the Knight Foundation. Through its Studio Residency and Visiting Artist Program, ArtCenter seeks to
advance artists careers and attract and retain talent from all over the world.
ArtCenter prides itself in being one of the few institutions in South Florida that grants free admission to
all of its exhibitions and other public programming in an effort to make the arts accessible to all.
Approximately 100,000 visitors come to the ArtCenter every year. This, in combination with strong alliances
with the corporate, academic and non-profit sectors, has contributed to ArtCenter’s recognition as a Major Cultural Institution by Miami-Dade County, as a Miami Beach Anchor Institution by the Miami Beach Cultural Arts Council and as a Knight Foundation Arts Challenge grantee.
